Why is the total more than US$49.00?
Sales tax. The price of LoopTeacher is US$49.00 everywhere; local sales tax is added at checkout based on where you are — for example 14.975% in Quebec, 20% VAT in much of Europe, nothing at all in some places. That tax is collected and remitted by Stripe, the merchant of record. It isn't kept by me, and the product price never changes.
Does it use AI on my students' information?
AI is off by default and nothing is ever sent automatically. If you choose to use the included AI Prompt Pack with your own assistant, the workflow refers to students by codes like S‑07 rather than names, and Loop warns you if a name looks like it slipped into a field. You stay in charge of what leaves your machine, because you're the one copying it.
What do I need to run it?
A computer with a modern browser — Windows, Mac, Chromebook or Linux. Chrome‑family browsers are recommended. It runs from a local file, there's nothing to install, and it works without an internet connection. Two habits keep your data safe: use it in one tab (the app warns you if a second opens) and not in a private/incognito window.

Not iPhone or iPad. Apple doesn't allow browsers on iOS to open files stored on the device, so LoopTeacher can't run there — a limitation of iOS, not of the app. It's built for the computer you plan on.
Will it work for elementary / high school / post‑secondary?
LoopTeacher is subject‑agnostic: you define your courses, periods and timetable. It was built by a teacher and is used across multiple courses and sections; the same structure fits elementary, high school and post‑secondary schedules.
